RAY Carers Group: Support group for carers no longer bringing someone with dementia

What we do…

RAY Carers group is a friendly welcoming safe space for carers of someone with dementia who has either entered residential care or passed away.  The group meets every week on Thursdays from 11am to 2pm  and is a peer support group to help those whose caring role has changed to adjust to a new situation.  The group is run by RAY staff members and has access to external agencies who can offer more specialized sup[port.

Activities are arranged to meet the needs and interests of those that attend. These include arts and craft workshops, creative entertainment and occasional outings to places of local interest, playing games.
